Only until very recently did I discover the meaning of Hadith e Kisa by reading its meanings in English. As I read it, I was overwhelmed by its content and what was being narrated.

So Masterfoods has started using animal rennet in its products - does this affect Muslims - who are not strictly vegetarians, but are concerned if these products can be consumed. See the reasoning below.

I came across this and thought id share it with you. I found it very interesting and was very touched by it. I will always now remember the points of these actions when performing them in my Salah. I had an office meeting on Friday and in that one point we had discussed was that we need to have 2 volunteers that are happy to go on a first aid training course. I volunteered together with another male colleague. We have 3 women who work in the company as well - and one of them looked at me and said "You are not allowed to touch women…so how can you volunteer as a first aider?" I said, to her, you are right…..but nevertheless, my name was taken forward. The women started making jokes saying "They will make sure they dont fall sick, or need first aid when I was on duty." and we all laughed.

Below are the lectures by Sayed Ammar Naqshwani that he recited in New York during Muharram 1428. As always, his lectures are interesting to listen to and very logically and powerfully delivered.
Last night I got some news from my grandmother in Dar es Salam that she had a dream. She had someone come in her dream on the night of Sham-e-Gareba telling to look in her box of Tasbih’s. She was awakened by this, but decided to disregard it. About 1 hour later, she had the same person telling her to look at the box in which she keeps all her Tasbih’s. She ignored this again until the morning when she woke up, got dressed etc.
Today was Ashura Day. What a Sad Day it was for me and for all the Shia’s in the world. You can read about the tragedy of Ashura here, but I am simply going to detail what we did today as a community, and share my emotions and feelings.

It is now the holy month of Muharram 1428 and I wanted to wish the holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW) and every member of his family a sincere and heart felt condoloence for the loss of so many members of his family.
