Waking up for Fajr Prayers
Recently, as part of my pledge to be a better muslim, I have been waking up for Fajr prayers every morning - and i must admit, I have missed a few here and there.

I’m a home worker, but last week, I had a meeting with my boss at my company’s head office up in Doncaster, UK. In the evening, my boss invited me around for dinner which we had not done for a while.
A while back, a thought crossed my mind - Can I have Music and Quran on my iPod?
I cannot read the Holy Quran fluently. I have no justification for it either. As mentioned in my Born Muslim post, I did not take things very seriously when my dear parents send me to madrasah. In addition to that, I also had a dedicated Maalim that used to come home to teach me to read the Holy Quran - and I did read and learn then, but never picked it up fluently and never took it any further after. When I was young, I was simply NOT interested.
I was speaking to my sister a few days ago and she mentioned a radio station called Radio Fatima - where she said there are good little snippets of talks on Islam. So, being the internet junky that I am, I straight away visited their site to see what they have on offer.
I am a Born Muslim and have been brought up in a respected family in which my family’s life was centered around Islam, and I mean totally! Every move made, be it within the household, business related, moral values, ethics, rights, respect, love was all made based on Islamic principles and teachings.
