I cant belive its already day 24 of the holy month of Ramadhan. For the first time in my life im really sad that this month is ending. Normally, I would look forward to it finishing so I could start eating in the day and do the other normal things. Indeed this time around, this holy month has worked a treat for me - I have gained alot of patience, and hardly ever became angry although the temptation had come about. Ilearnt to control several desires while fasting too - and being consicous of my actions all throughout. Even though i did mess up sometimes - I pray that Allah (SWT) accepts my fast on the days where i went abit astray.

This coming weekend, I will be taking part in Itikaaf -i.e. I will be spending 3 days in the mosque with my Allah (SWT) and noone else. by separating myself from the world in everyway, I will be able to focus my energies and thoughts with Allah (SWT) - who surely deserves it.

On Sunday last week we had a family Iftar. Many memebrs of my family were able to make it, including my immediate family. My entire immediate family was able to make it and I was very pleased with the fact that everyone came.

During the holy month of Ramadan, Muslims fast from dawn to dusk for the entire month, an act that brings joy and contentment to every Muslim who experiences the practice. We pray that this blessed month brings divine blessings to all of us.
