Bonfire Night vs War Zones : A Comparison
The other night was bonfire night, and fireworks were at their peak with everyone celebrating Guy Folkes day and all. While I enjoyed watching the odd fireworks as I was driving, hearing the whistle then the loud bang - I could not help but think of the countries such as Iraq, Lebanon, Palestine etc where the people who live there hear these sounds every day. The only difference lies in the fact that the sounds they hear are NOT of fireworks, but of actual bombs and missiles being launched causing devastation to lives and property.
